1. Junior Showmanship classes shall be offered at each National Specialty and shall include the regular classes as set forth by the AKC.

a. A class for 8 to 10 year olds may be added at the discretion of the host show committee.

2. AKC rules and regulations relating to Junior Showmanship shall at all times take precedence.

3. A prize and a rosette will be offered for first place in each division.

4. The CCA offers the Ada Shirley Memorial Trophy for best Junior Handler. Parent must be a CCA member.

5. The Best Junior Handler will be brought into the ring preceding Best of Breed judging. At that time the Commemorative Silver Teaspoon will be awarded. The Ada Shirley Memorial Teapot (Challenge Trophy) will be presented at the Annual Meeting and Banquet.
