Most Versatile Collie Rules for 2008
The CCA Versatility Awards, the MVC award and the MVC qualifier awards are presented in the conformation ring on Saturday during the BOV judging lunch break.
There were only a few minor changes from the rules used in 2007: (1) Clarification that a dog entered in conformation class will receive no points if it doesn't show (i.e. marked absent), and (2) number of points awarded for passing a herding HT or PT class was reduced from 60 to 50.

Limited Edition 2008 Logo Print
The beautiful 2008 logo, “Collies Under the Big Top,” was drawn for us by the well-known Collie artist, Cindy Alvarado. The logo, in all its detail and wonderful colors, can be seen above. We are now pleased to offer for sale, a limited edition of 50 giclee prints, signed and numbered by the artist. The giclee printing process produces a reproduction that retains a high degree of fine detail from the original image, rendering deeply saturated colors with broad ranges of tonal values.
Outside dimension is 14” x 16.5”, with the image measuring approximately 11” x 14”. A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each print. Price is $30 plus $6 shipping and handling. If you wish to order more than one print, contact Joanne Huff at stonehavencollies@hotmail.com and she can give you the shipping cost. Insurance is optional.
Checks should be made out to "CCA 2008 Show Account" and sent to Joanne Huff, 22130 Schroeder Road, Kansasville, WI 53139

Premium List is available
> Download the 2008 National Specialty Premium List
One of the featured and fun events at the 2008 CCA in LaCrosse WI, will be a silent auction of State Baskets. The Baskets can be as imaginative and diverse as you choose. The basket can be large, filled with items to represent your state(s) and/or club. There are only a few rules: l) NO perishables (for obvious reasons) 2) Itemize items in basket on a separate card, so bidders will know what they are bidding on (no digging thru baskets that way).
3) Designate someone to bring the basket to LaCrosse by Tuesday of that week. The silent auction proceeds will be divided equally between the Collie Rescue Foundation and the Show Committee Expense fund. We will award ribbons for several catagories of baskets: most representative of state(s), most creative, most diverse (I am still working on other catagories). Suggestions are always appreciated!! As it gets closer to the National, I would like to know who is going to bring the baskets and their contact numbers. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions.
